New Brunswick connection
Most pathways weigh your ties to the province: residence, work with a New Brunswick employer, graduation from a New Brunswick institution, or francophone connections.
PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM
New Brunswick selects skilled workers, francophone candidates, and entrepreneurs through invitation rounds tied to labour market needs. Timing and occupation targeting matter.
PLAIN-LANGUAGE OVERVIEW
The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) is the province's economic immigration program. It invites candidates from its candidate pool to apply for nomination, with invitations based on provincial labour market needs, available allocation, and other priorities set by the province. The active streams are the New Brunswick Skilled Worker stream (with New Brunswick Experience and New Brunswick Graduates pathways), the New Brunswick Express Entry stream, and the Strategic Initiative for francophone candidates. The province also runs a business immigration stream for entrepreneurs, and the separate Atlantic Immigration Program for designated employers.
These are key factors, not a complete eligibility test. Check the current official instructions and your individual circumstances before applying.
