There are two classes of federal business immigrants program:

• Self-employed persons

Beside federal program various Provincial Nominee programs for business class are available.

Business class applicants are selected primarily on the basis of their ability to create jobs for themselves and other Canadians

Business class applicants do not use the Express Entry system, but mail application packages.

Applicants must have sufficient funds to support themselves and their family members for at least one year.
